Ewa is the semi autographical graphic novel following the events and life of a Libyan family through the changes that washed over the world in the 60’s and through to the early 90’s; as told through the point of view of natives.

Its replete with a snapshot of Libya’s culture, history and social life, as its’ people adapt and change first, to their new independent state, the discovery of oil and through the upheaval and whirlwind transition that was Gaddafi’s revolution and beyond.

The first book’s events begin in the 1960’s and end in 1992 where the family then moves to Scotland, United Kingdom; and the story is continued in the second book.
